AI Consultations

AI-First Employee Special $500

For only $500 + Expenses I will take the evidence that you and your team have already compiled showing that the AI is simply not performing well enough on the task to meet your boss’s expectation and attempt to argue with management on your behalf. I will take your evidence, put it into a document, add a few details about accuracy or privacy concerns, a write up of percent success vs chance agreement, add some jargon and fancy looking tables or something and put a PhD behind your claims. I will show up for a meeting with your boss or CEO to argue that the AI just isn’t working. He can’t fire me, so I can shout back. I will disappear into the sunset after the meeting, but you are on your own. Rates are negotiable if you cannot get the expense approved by management, but still want help.

AI Initial Business Consult $2500

For an initial consulting fee of $2500+Expenses I will review the tasks you want to automate, your plans for AI implementation, the data inputs, the LLM outputs, and your success criteria. I will provide a common sense report discussing the likelihood of success weighed against the implications of failure, potential data privacy concerns for your employees or clients, methods that might improve your output, and the most realistic and efficient use cases that will get you closer to your goal.

AI Initial Business Consult $10,000

For a fee of $10,000+Expenses You get me for a month. I will interview your employees, find out what is working what is not. I will review the tasks you want to automate, I will talk to the expense department and try to find out what the llm service bills are for specific tasks. I will look at the data inputs, the LLM outputs, and your success criteria. I will work with your employees to develop rubrics for success, classify the output, quantify your success so that you can have a baseline for testing whether changes really are improving performance, identify any obvious data privacy concerns for your clients, methods that might improve your output, and the most realistic and efficient use cases that will get you closer to your goal. Whatever I can do to help in 30 days.

AI Hourly Consultation Services $75/hr

For $75/hr +Expenses, I will stick around after the initial consult to help you organize your data, provide insights and suggestions for automation procedures, review and classify your output according to your rubics, and calculate quantifiable evidence of success or failure in your models. I will conduct interviews with employees to find out about their review processes and procedures. I have experience in generative AI for nearly 1000 topics of university level history, science, and social science, so I am familiar with common errors and what to look for.

Research Consultations

Initial Business Consult $2500-$5000

The first 30 minutes of this service is free, as there are many types of research and I want to be honest about whether your plan falls into my domain. I will meet with you and take a look at what you have so far and let you know if I can help. If I am able to help: the price of the full consultation is dependent on how much research you have already conducted and how far along you are in your plan. For an initial consulting fee of $2500-$5000+Expenses I will read over the method of your survey research, AB testing, and review the study you want to conduct. I will review the data you plan to collect, methods to be used, and review research from your industry regarding which models you should use and which covariates should be included based on recent research in the field. I will need a few days of reading to catch up in your field.

Hourly Research Consultation Services $75/hr

For $75/hr +Expenses, I will stick around after the initial consult to help you design learning assessments or survey research instruments, organize your data, investigate outliers, and verify model assumptions, refine instruments, etc. I will even help you write the research for publication if you want a co-author.

Dissertation Research Consultations

I charge less for dissertation research consultations because I enjoy them. This discount applies only for early career professionals and graduate students who are pursuing their life dreams and eager to share their passion for knowledge. If you hate your research topic and do not excitedly tell me about your idea you will be charged full business consultation fees.

Initial Dissertation Research Consultation $500

For $500 I will review your dissertation proposal to investigate your plans, what data you are able to collect, what models might work for your study, and brainstorm which covariates you should include based on your research. Or if you are further along in the study, for $500 I will look at what you have done so far, ensure the analysis is correctly interpreted and communicated clearly. I can review your code and methods to ensure I get the same result, and test other similar models.

Dissertation Research Support $1500

For $1500 I will give you the initial dissertation consultation and provide an additional 30 hours of support throughout your PhD. I can help to proof read, review the study, check your models, use your results and provide a sample writeup of the methods and results using the correct language for your dissertation.
